Don’t Overload Your Circuits

Overloading circuits is a common cause of electrical issues in many homes. It happens when too many appliances or devices are plugged into a single outlet or circuit.

What to Watch For:

  • Flickering Lights: Flickering lights when appliances are running or when too many devices are plugged into one circuit could indicate that the circuit is overloaded.

  • Hot Outlets: If an outlet feels warm to the touch, it could be a sign that it’s carrying more power than it can handle.

Tip:

Avoid plugging too many devices into a single outlet. If you need to use more devices, consider adding additional outlets or installing a new circuit.
